PROJECT : Densified Total Mixed Ration (BHELI)

A turn key project for dairy co- operatives and entrepreneurs

Options: 15 mt/day 30 mt /day 45 mt/day

Necessory Requirements for The Project :

1. Land 1 to 2 acre

2. Building & Storage Houses:

For fodder storage 5000 sq. ft to 20000 sq. ft.
For Plant Machinery raw material and finished goods: 12000 to 14000 sq. ft.
For Office complex: 400 to 800 sq. ft.
For labor quarter: 500 to 1000 sq. ft.
For watchmen room: 60 sq. ft.
For small work shop and store room: 100 sq. ft.
For D.G set shelter 300 sq. ft.
For laboratory 120 sq. ft.

3. Plant and Machinery

1. Standard concentrate section with elevators, 1 single screen hammer mill, 1     double screen hammer mill, mixer over mixer arrangement, store bin and     connecting fittings.
2. Double jacketed URO-MOL boiler with temperature probe, attached low mounted     mixer for substrate absorption.
3. Mollasses tanks: 10 mt, 2 mt and 500 kg. with connecting pipes and pump.
4. TMR roto-pad 89 high efficiency mixer with attachments.
5. Block making equipments
    Type I. Standard manual (capacity up to 1.5 Mt/Hr)
    Type III. Semi automatatic with programmed logic control (capacity up to 1.5     Mt/Hr)
    Type IV. Semi automatic with auto packing and optional auto feeding. (Capacity     up to 2.5 Mt/Hr)
6. Chaff cutter for high elastic and low elastic fodder.
7. Other accessories
    Weighing scales bag closure, electric fittings and connections, D.G. Sets,     transformer, electric panel, motors, gearboxes, lubricants and water supply.

4. Other equipments:

Fax machine, phone, copier, computer with internet connection, stationary etc.

5. Man Power Requirement

On per shift basis 10 hrs:
Un skilled labours 15 – 25. Supervisors- 2
On permanent staff basis:
Manager – 1
Nutritionist cum technical advisor – 1
Assistant– 1
Clerk – 1
Peon – 1
Watchman - 1
Other staff: Marketing manager – 1
Field staff – 4

Fixed cost:

15 Mt/Day: 50 to 60 lac
30 Mt/Day: 75 lac to 90 lacs
45 Mt/Day: up to 1 crore

Working capital:

For 15 Mt Plant: 10 lac+
For 30 Mt Plant: 25 lac+
For 45 Mt Plant: 30 to 40 lac
